The Wellington Botanic Garden features 25 hectares of unique landscape, protected native forest, conifers, specialised plant collections, colourful floral displays, and views over Wellington city. Dogs are allowed if they are on lead and the owners clean up after them. he Botanic Garden is minutes from downtown Wellington, and is easily accessed.
