Dog Friendly Beaches in Tehkummah, ON

Oscoda Beach Park is pet-friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome to hang out on the sand, but there's plenty to do for humans, too. The beach is adjacent to a skateboard park, playground, pier, boardwalk, pavilion and there are restrooms, too.

Leashed dogs are welcome at Singing Sands Beach, a seasonal, pet-friendly beach in Tobermory, ON. This beach on Lake Huron is accessible from May 20th through October 31st, and features interpretive trails, picnic areas and shallow water access that stretches many feet out into the lake. Parking does tend to fill up quickly in the summer, and please note that a fee is involved.

Tawas Point State Park is a dog-friendly recreation area with a section of shoreline for pups to play along the beach in East Tawas, MI. The dog beach is enclosed by fencing along Tawas Bay between the campground and the lighthouse. Pets are prohibited on all other beach areas as well as the Sandy Hook Trail.

This is a MDOT Roadside Park with a paved parking lot, side bike trail, picnic area, and sandy beach. Leashed dogs are welcome.

Station Beach in Kincardine, ON is pet friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners at this local recreation space for a walk in the sand, jaunt along the boardwalk or splash in the water. Visitors are also invited to take a seat at one of the benches to watch as surfers ride the waves. Note that dogs must be leashed during your visit.

Ossineke State Forest Campground welcomes two- and four-legged visitors with a day-use area featuring picnic tables, grills, forested trails, and a dog-friendly beach on Lake Huron. For longer stays, 42 rustic campsites are available in the surrounding cedar forest. Pets should remain leashed and are prohibited in all buildings.

Furry friends are invited to cool off in the water at Memorial Park Leash-Free Dog Beach at Meaford Memorial Park in Meaford, ON. This small, pet-friendly portion of the beach allows dogs to enjoy off-leash play while rolling in the sand and splashing in the water.
