Off-Leash Dog Parks in Lower Ohio, NS

Irving Big Stop is dog-friendly! Bring Fido to this gas station and restaurant's fenced-in, grassy dog park where dogs can safely relax and stretch their legs off-leash during a long road trip. Waste bags are provided, along with some agility equipment for the dogs to use so they can stretch their paws.

Bring Fido to the Reservoir Park in Wolfville, NS. Pups are allowed to enjoy off-leash play before 10:00 AM and after 7:00 PM daily; otherwise, canines must remain leashed. This recreation area features a dog-friendly beach where dogs can swim, along with walking and biking trails with great views.

Saint John Bark Park is pet-friendly. This park has a smaller fenced in area for dogs to hang out in away from the crowds. The larger enclosure is a great place for dogs to make new friends and play fetch. There are dog bags on site, but there's not water available. The park is open every day of the week from 8am to 11pm.

Dogs are invited to play off leash at the Yarmouth Dog Park in Yarmouth, NS, located alongside the Broad Brook Trail, behind the Mariners' ball field. The grassy, fenced recreation space features two separate areas for small and large dogs to explore. Water isn't available, so please bring your own. Note that the dog park is not accessible to persons with mobility issues.

Dogs are welcome to run and play off leash at the South Shore Vet Dog Zone. Follow all rules and restrictions. The dog park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
