Witch Hole Pond Loop is pet-friendly. There are 150 miles of trails throughout Acadia National Park, and this trail is one of the most accessible for pups and their owners. Witch Hole Pond Loop is one of Acadia's famed carriage roads that’s perfect for a winter excursion. This five mile loop is rated as easy and can be completed in a couple of hours.

Leashed dogs are welcome on the pet-friendly Hunters Beach Trail in Acadia National Park in Mount Desert, ME. This half-mile out-and-back trail offers a peaceful, wooded walk to a quiet shoreline with colorful rocks and scenic ocean views.

For 1.5 hours before and after low tide, a gravel bar is exposed connecting the town of Bar Harbor and Bar Island. On the island, the dog-friendly Bar Island Trail gradually ascends through the forest on an old road to various open sections with views of Bar Harbor and Frenchman Bay. Exercise caution and be aware of the tides, as the ocean otherwise covers the bar. If you walk over to the island and lose track of time, it is 9 hours until the bar emerges again. This hike is 1.9 miles round trip.

This dog-friendly, 1.5-mile hike is a quick way to access the iconic North Bubble, South Bubble, and Bubble Rock. Visitors can take two short spur trails to reach each summit with expansive views of Jordan Pond and the surrounding mountains. Managed by Acadia National Park.
