The easy round-trip hike will take you through the old railway tunnels and as such, flashlights are recommended. There are a few picnic tables near the parking area that are available seasonally. Rock falls and landslides are common in this area, so check the park's website in advance for closures or safety warnings. The trail is closed during the winter months.
