Dog Friendly Hiking Trails in Owego, NY

You and Fido can enjoy a walk through nature at IBM Glen, a dog-friendly nature preserve part of the Waterman Conservation Education Center in Endicott, NY. The area features pathed walking trails that come across a gorge and a creek.

Sweedler and Thayer Preserves in Ithaca, NY, is a dog-friendly 155-acre nature escape featuring well-marked moderate to steep trails, glacier-cut streams, rock formations, and a diverse array of native plants and birds. Leashed dogs are welcome, and visitors are asked to carry in/carry out.

Dorchester Park in Whitney Point, NY, is a dog-friendly spot with scenic nature trails around the lake. Leashed pups are welcome on the trails and in most areas of the park, but not on the beach. Enjoy a relaxing walk with your pup or rent a boat for fun on the water.
