Dog Friendly Hiking Trails in Peachland, NC

Leashed dogs can join their owners throughout the pet-friendly outdoor areas of Reed Gold Mine in Midland, NC, the site of the first documented gold discovery in the United States. Explore approximately three miles of trails through historic mining areas and archaeological sites, including a boardwalk overlooking Little Meadow Creek. Two-legged visitors can also tour the mine and try gold panning for an additional fee.
