As the leaves begin to change and the air carries a hint of fall, it's the ideal time to explore new horizons with your furry companion. This month, we're thrilled to introduce you to the latest pet-friendly attractions – from dog parks for boundless fun to charming wineries and breweries that roll out the welcome mat for you and your four-legged friend.

Southern Area Dog Park

Unleash excitement at Southern Area Dog Park at Riverfront Park in Fort Washington, MD. This 28,000-square-foot facility offers individual areas for small and large breeds. Features include drinking fountains, toy baskets, waste stations, ADA-compliant self-closing gates and chairs. There are four surface types to cater to your pup, including concrete, artificial turf, lawn and rustic "woodland" areas. Built with environmental site design, it minimizes grading and tree removal, preserving nature's beauty. Dogs and pet parents welcome to your new hangout!

Once your pooch has burned off all his energy for the day, head back to Chic Garage Studio for a night of rest.

Bark Park

The Bark Park in Kenai, AK, is the ultimate haven for canines and their human companions. This fully fenced dog run covers 1.5 acres with separate sections designated for small and large dogs, waste bag stations, benches, and a pavilion. Pups will also have a tail-wagging time trying out the agility obstacles and the wooded area with a path for hide and seek.
