Metropolitan at The 9, Autograph Collection in Cleveland is the only 4-star hotel with an indoor dog park in the country. Fido can pick up a welcome package at check-in before taking the elevator to the 29th floor. There, he'll step into a pup’s petite paradise containing an astroturfed potty area with fire hydrants for an authentic peeing experience, a long hallway for a game of fetch, and benches for humans.
The Metropolitan at The 9 accepts two dogs up to 75 lbs for a fee of $100.
Hotel Parq Central
Located at the gateway to Albuquerque, Hotel Parq Central is the perfect base for two- and four-legged tourists looking to explore New Mexico’s largest city. Your pooch will be welcomed by the hotel’s pet ambassador, Tobie, who personally delivers treats, beds, and water bowls to furry guests. After check-in, check out the large dog park and the hotel’s pet-friendly fenced courtyard. For longer walks, take a stroll to Highland Park just south of the hotel.

Islander Resort
The Islander Resort unlocks the Florida Keys for guests who want to bask in the tropical sun. Pack your pup’s sun protector spray and wander down the golden sands of the resort’s private beach. Afterward, stop by the on-site dog park for a much-needed session of “zoomies.” Running around in circles will work up an appetite. Fortunately, you can sink your teeth into the fresh catch from Tides Beachside Bar & Grill. Fido is welcome for dinner in the pet-designated area of the restaurant.

Step back in time at the Roadrunner Lodge on Route 66. This recreation area in the heart of New York’s hip SoHo district is exclusively available to guests staying at Soho Grand Hotel and Roxy Hotel New York. The only other way through the gate is to pay a $500 annual membership fee. Beautifully designed, the space looks more like a Japanese Zen garden than your average fenced dog run. It won’t take long for Fido to sniff out rocks to climb, water to drink, and fire hydrants to extinguish in this little park in the Big Apple.

Located on the outskirts of Ohio’s capital, DogHouse Columbus is the perfect spot to stay with Fido. This unique brewhouse and hotel features a restaurant, beer garden, and an off-leash dog park on site. Pup-friendly rooms are on the first floor with access to grassy areas, and leashed dogs are welcome in the lobby and on the extensive outdoor patio area of the brewery. Located a block from Union Square at the edge of the city’s historic Theater District, Hotel Nikko San Francisco specializes in spoiling pooches. While gracious and adorable Buster, the hotel’s Canine Operating Officer, has retired, you may still spot him or Beau, the “Pawblic” Relations Manager, during your stay. Fido can visit the fifth-floor pet terrace and play on the artificial turf dog run, complete with waste station, water bowls, toy chest and his own version of a San Francisco trolley car.
