Doggie Super Bowl Voting

Dogs at Enchantment Pet Resort are looking for a 4th win in predicting the Super Bowl outcome in early February! For the past few years, canine guests at the Resort have been asked to predict the winner of the Super Bowl - and they have been right each year! In 2011, our furry football fans selected the Green Bay Yappers over the Pittsburgh Heelers - and the Yappers were, indeed, victorious. For the 2012 Super Bowl, the Resort’s guests said the New Yorkie Giants would defeat the New England Papillions. Again, the pooches picked perfectly. 2013 saw a correct pick for the Bark-some-more Rovers who beat the Fortyweimers. Can they do it again in 2014? To make their predictions, each dog approaches the field goal post set up in the lobby of our dog hotel. Each upright is labeled with the name of one of the competing teams. There is a bowl containing a cookie located under each upright. (The cookies in each bowl are identical, by the way.) The guest’s prediction is tallied, based on which bowl the dog goes to first, to retrieve a cookie. Yes, some guests take both cookies. And some owners are quite disappointed when their dogs predict “the wrong” team will win. We hope you will join us when we start polling for the 2014 Super Bowl. Our voting begins January 20th and continues through January 31st. Can the dogs of Enchantment continue their winning streak? We certainly hope so!
