Greenwich Kennel Club All-Breed Dog Show, Obedience & Rally Trial

The Greenwich Kennel Club (GKC) will hold their 82nd All-Breed Dog Show, Obedience & Rally Trial. The Saturday, June 7th show will showcase more than 1,100 pre-entered purebred dogs representing some 150 unique breeds competing in conformation. The obedience and rally events are open to pre-registered purebreds as well as mixed-breed dogs who are registered under the AKC Canine Partners program. The Berger Picard Club of America will host an OPEN SHOW including a Misc & FSS Puppy 4-6 Month Competition. The Irish Red and White Setter Club of America Specialty will hold their Parent Specialty, Junior Showmanship, Sweepstakes, Conformation. The Doggie Fun Zone is open to all dog and is a scaled down Agility course where the dog chases an elusive lure around the course is fun and good exercise for the dog and very exciting to watch. The dogs do not need any prior experience or training, no pre-entry necessary and the fee is $12. Other show features includes Free Show Tours; Puppy Groups & Best Puppy in Show competition; Meet the Author book signing with Brian Lowney, "Unconditional Love: Pet Tales to Warm the Heart; Rookie Agility; K-9 Haute Couture Fashion Show and Chic Runway Doggies; Disaster and Wilderness Ground Search (DAWGS); Micro-Chip Clinic & DNA Clinic; and many concessionaires.
