This annual dog friendly event will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on July 20, 2014 at Pleasant Hill Park in Pleasant Hill, CA. Sponsored by Contra Costa Humane Society. Admission is $25 per person over 13 and benefits Contra Costa Humane Society.

Description
Come to Contra Costa Humane Society’s Picnic with your Pooch on Sunday, July 20th at Pleasant Hill Park picnic area from 10 am – 1 pm. This unique event will have you enjoying a walk around the park, demonstrations, games and more. Enter to win a pet contest or a raffle prize, play musical chairs, enjoy a massage and goodies from the vendor booths such as Pet Food Express and Whole Foods, listen to KKDV music and then enjoy a picnic with your Pooch courtesy of CCHS and Rubios. The person who walks the most laps wins a special prize. . First 30 registered adult participants will receive a goody bag. Registration available in advance or at event. Bring your blanket and walking shoes. A variety of dog food and bones will be provided. All proceeds benefit CCHS animals and programs in Contra Costa County.
