Annual Wiener Dog Races at Mount Angel Oktoberfest

Mark your calendars for Annual Wiener Dog Races at Mount Angel Oktoberfest! This dog-friendly event will be held from 11:00 AM - 4:30 PM on September 19, 2026 at St. Mary School Yard (across the street from St. Mary Parish Church) in Mount Angel, OR. Admission is $10 per dog, per race. Entry to the festival starts at $15 per person. Visit Website

Description

Wiener Dog Races are a highlight of Mount Angel Oktoberfest! Each dog needs two handlers present at the course at the time of the race. Check-in begins at 9:00 AM. Preregistration is recommended as there's a limit of 70 racers. Walk-ins are welcome but aren't guaranteed to participate. You must have proof of rabies vaccination at registration.
