I-Did-A-Run Sled Dog Race

Mark your calendars for I-Did-A-Run Sled Dog Race! This dog friendly event will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on March 1, 2026 at Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Area in Truckee, CA. Admission is $35 and benefits the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe. Visit Website

Description

During SNOWFEST, a winter festival in Truckee, the Tahoe Donner “Ididarun” lets dogs and their humans race sleds! Pups compete in four weight categories, pulling 50% of their body weight across a snow-covered course, with winners in each division and an overall champion. Raffles add extra fun, and dogs must be vaccinated, friendly and leashed when not racing.
