This family- and dog-friendly shopping event features a variety of specialty vendors showcasing unique products like baked goods, handmade jewelry, fine leather goods, self care essentials, clothing, plants and more!

The San Antonio Botanical Garden invites its members to enjoy select Member Exclusive Dog Days, where they can explore the Garden's scenic grounds alongside their four-legged companions. On these designated days, members can stroll the Garden's pathways with their dogs, provided they adhere to specific guidelines: dogs must be current on vaccinations and registrations, remain leashed at all times, and are restricted from certain areas, including the Zachry Foundation Culinary Garden, Family Adventure Garden, Children’s Vegetable Garden, and Lucile Halsell Conservatory exhibit rooms.

This dog-friendly Halloween festival features a Monster Market with local vendors, a dog costume contest, a Tricks for Treats contest and spooky photo booths. Guests can also enjoy free agility runs through the Haunted Maze, with sWAG Bags available to the first 30 people in line, plus plenty of other tricks, treats and surprises.

The first 250 dogs through the gate will receive a complimentary bandana, and all guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including music, a costume contest, dog and human trick-or-treating, and even adoption opportunities. While your furry friend experiences exciting enrichment activities, you can explore the zoo’s sights and exhibits, making it a perfect day for animal lovers of all ages.

This annual celebration features elaborately decorated barges adorned with altars, catrinas, and costumed riders, honoring loved ones who have passed. The parade commences at the Weston Centre and proceeds along the San Antonio River Walk, with the first float expected to reach the Arneson River Theatre around 7:45 PM. Strollers and carriers aren't permitted on the River Walk for this event.

The weekend event brings together traditional art and culture with live music and entertainment to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Festivities include live music, original artwork, a dance, drum and puppet procession, live poetry, and the largest open altar exhibition in San Antonio. Please keep Fido leashed at all times.

Bring your pup to 40 Acre Lake for a trail adventure with a ranger! Learn to bag waste, always leash up, respect wildlife and know where to go for Fido to become a B.A.R.K. Ranger. Meet at the restrooms for a fun hike. Bring water, weather-appropriate clothing, hat, shoes, insect repellent and sunscreen.

The Arthritis Foundation’s race is the original festive race for charity with your pup. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume. Bring a team of friends, family, and co-workers to run or walk. Please ensure your dog is kept on a leash. Check-in starts at 8:00 AM and the race begins at 8:45 AM.
