Pet Friendly PuppyPalooza
PuppyPalooza Fans are invited to bring their dogs to PuppyPalooza, a Bark in the Park–style event, as the Clippers face off against the Durham Bulls. To participate, guests must complete the order form and waiver in advance. Early arrival is recommended for check-in. See Details
Dawg Night with the Lake County Captains Take Fido out to a baseball game! Dog-friendly games are held on select dates throughout the season, so make sure to check the website's schedule to catch a game. Enjoy themed experiences and plenty of photo-worthy moments. Dogs attend for free. See Details
Legacy Live Summer Concert Series Relax on the lawn with Fido and enjoy free live music every Saturday during the summer! Held at The Lawn, near Saffron Patch, these performances feature a dynamic mix of musical styles—including pop, rock, jazz, and more—making it the perfect way to spend a summer evening. Concerts are weather-dependent and may be canceled due to inclement conditions. See Details
Dawg Days with Lake County Captains Take your pup out for a fun day at the ballpark with the Lake County Captains! Dogs are welcome at all home games for $5, but every Thursday, dogs get in free! Enjoy a lively baseball game, delicious snacks, and America’s favorite pastime. Check their website for current game schedule. See Details
Vandalia Doggy Pool Pawty This event is for VRC Members, Cassel Hills Pool Members and Vandalia Residents only. Treat your pup to an end-of-season pool party where dogs can swim, splash, and cool off before the pool closes for the year. The event features pup cups, dog-friendly activities, and plenty of opportunities for four-legged friends to play and socialize. See Details
Doggie Dip at Main Street Aquatic Center Well-behaved, vaccinated pups can dive into an open swim session to celebrate the end of pool season! Humans aren't permitted to swim, but dog owners can help their pets as needed. Aggressive dogs, dogs in heat and dogs under 4 months old aren't permitted. Registration is required and opens August 1st online. See Details
Annual Wiener Dog Derby A Dachshund racing event held as part of the Stark County Fair that welcomes Dachshund owners to enter their dogs in heats and contests. Spectators can cheer on speedy Wiener Dogs as they dash toward the finish line! Participating dogs must be pre-registered and meet event requirements, including proof of rabies vaccination and breed verification. See Details
Doggie Dippin' Let your pup to cool off in the water before summer comes to an end and the pool is drained for the season. Dogs may swim during their allocated time based on weight. Please note that dog owners aren't permitted in the water. Dogs 40 pounds and under may swim from 4:30 to 5:45 PM and dogs over 40 pounds may swim from 6 to 7:15 PM. See Details
Annual Big Splash Dog Swim at Avon Lake Municipal Pool Hosted by Love-A-Stray Dog Division, your pup's invited for an afternoon of splashing and playing! The event is rain or shine. Flex leads aren't permitted. See Details
Cleveland Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Races The Cleveland Oktoberfest hosts Wiener Dog Races as part of the festival! The event will include heats for adult Dachshunds (1-8 years old) as well as for puppies (8 weeks to 1 year) and seniors (8 years and older). The adults run 40 feet, while puppies and seniors run 25 feet (though a few just run back to their owners). Four dogs will race in each heat. Races will be held Sat, Sept 5th – Mon, Sept 7th, and Sat, Sept 12th, with a costume contest at 3 PM each day. See Details

Cleveland Oktoberfest

Cleveland Oktoberfest Celebrate German culture with Fido at this annual festival featuring live music, craft and Oktoberfest-style beers, authentic German food, the The Wiener Dog Races, a Bavarian shopping village, arts & crafts markets, a 5K Bier Run, fireworks, and much more. Dogs must be well socialized and leashed at all times. See Details
Doggie Paddle at Highlands Park Aquatic Center Give your pup one final splash before summer ends at Highlands Park Aquatic Center! Small dogs can swim from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by dogs of all sizes from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. All participating dogs must display current vaccination tags and dog licenses while in the park. Furry Friends Weekend at Jellystone Park™ Akron-Canton Registered guests with tent or RV sites are invited to bring their dogs along for a fun-filled weekend getaway. Highlights include a Dog Water Park with a wading pool and playful water features, a dog costume contest, and a tie-dye dog bandanna craft. With dog-themed games, activities, and plenty of tail-wagging fun throughout the weekend, it’s the perfect escape for pups and their people. See Details
Dog Swim at Ziegler Pool Cool off with your pup at this annual event, where dogs can splash, play and socialize in the pool! Registration is required, and participants must follow safety rules including leashing, vaccinations, and responsible supervision. Aggressive dogs, puppies under three months, and females in heat aren't permitted. See Details
Annual Fall Market Guests can browse dozens of vendors while enjoying food, drinks, and entertainment, including games and interactive experiences. Friendly pets are welcome to join, with space to play and socialize on site. See Details

Bark In The Park with the Cleveland Guardians Humans are invited to enjoy a Cleveland Guardians game alongside their dog! This special ticketed event requires both the dog and owner to have individual tickets, with one human ticket required for each dog ticket. Human tickets include food, Pepsi products, and access to the Pennant District. Dogs must have a current vaccination record presented at entry. See Details
Hens & Hounds with the Toledo Mud Hens Bring Fido out for a game of ball at this Bark in the Park-style event! The Mud Hens will take the field as the ‘Mud Hounds' for this series of dog-friendly games. There will be designated seating for you to watch the game (Sections 120 and 121) as well as special water stations, mini-pools, and designated restroom areas. Fans with their dogs will enter Fifth Third Field through the Center Field Gate on St. Clair Street. Be sure your pup is on a six ft. (or less) leash and well-mannered. See Details
Bark in the Park with the Cincinnati Reds Take Fido out to the ballgame to celebrate with organizations committed to animal welfare. A waiver stating your pet is up to date on vaccinations is required, which you can fill out beforehand or once you arrive.
