Another view of the Keeping Room is looking back towards the kitchen and back stairway leading up to the second floor.
**Note: Fireplaces throughout the Williams Home are decorative only.**
Why not stay home tonight for dinner and assign someone traveling with you who loves cooking as your chef for the evening! (Of course, you will do the grocery shopping. Hehe)
The kitchen is full of character (and full of cookware) with a unique blend of cabinets. Who are the lucky ones that get to relax and watch the chef??
The Williams Home, this listing, is left, and The Smith Cottage (sleep 4 which might be available too) is to the right. Parking and yard are shared by both rentals if rented separately. If you need additional parking, please park behind the church.
To access the Williams Home, you will walk on the gravel path between the Williams Home and the Smith Cottage to the side door shown in the picture with the flag.
The colonial staircase in the front hallway has seen many feet the past two hundred years!
Welcome to the Keeping Room. Look at the 19th-century beehive oven! Imagine all the meals the lady of the house prepared back in the day!
**Note: Fireplaces throughout the Williams Home are decorative only.**
On the other side of the attic, opposite the queen sleeper sofa, is our 4th "bedroom area" offering a super comfy queen-bed suspended from ropes! NOTE: The two areas have a partial wall between them but no door- great as a shared family space.
This adorable Cordage private bathroom has a tub/shower, shampoo, condition, and body wash dispensers.
For an antique circa 1810 home, the flow on the 1st floor is great for moving about, choosing places to sit, chatting, and laughing with those who are precious to you:)
**Note: Fireplaces throughout the Williams Home are decorative only.**
Historic center chimney colonial dressed up in lovely bunting flags!
Private entrance for the Cordage with keypad code. The main entrance is around the other side of the house. Love the red door with the flags:)
BEDROOM #2
The Ship Carver Guest Room is on the second floor and has a comfy king-size four-poster bed. Isn't it calling you to come and rest?
The Ship Carver Guest Room is quite roomy for an antique home.
You will have use of the fire pit, which is shared with the Smith Cottage guests if rented separately. The red shed is where I keep bundles of wood. The Smith is left and Williams beyond. The Country Store across the street has excellent sandwiches!
