Guest Access:
You have access to everything at Arapaho Forest Lodge except a locked supply closet, garage, and basement (access the Gear Hut from a curtained portion of the basement).
No fumbling with keys; self-check-in is available with digital keypad. There is a Ring camera on the front door for your security.
Privacy and quiet are hallmarks of this home that backs up to the National Forest. The lodge is completely surrounded by the forest. Walk toward the backyard, and you are in the National Forest with hundreds of acres available to wander.
Free parking is available in large driveway for up to three vehicles. Luggage can be loaded through front and back doors, and outdoor gear can be safely stored in the Gear Hut located next to the garage.
Arapaho Forest Lodge is located just minutes from downtown Nederland, close to shopping, restaurants, breweries, Tails of Two Cities Animal Sanctuary, The Carousel of Happiness, liquor stores, grocery stores, and much more. Boulder and Denver are a short, scenic mountain drive away. Hosts will happily offer personalized suggestions based on your group’s interests.

The Neighborhood:
This is a mountain community, so all houses are set back in their own wooded acreage, which provides significant privacy and beauty. It’s not unusual to see moose, elk, fox, rabbit and deer in the area!
Arapaho Forest Lodge is located just minutes from downtown Nederland, close to shopping, restaurants, breweries, The Carousel of Happiness, liquor stores, grocery stores, and much more. Boulder and Denver are a short, scenic mountain drive away. Hosts will happily offer personalized suggestions based on your group’s interests.
Getting Around:
Highway 119 is less than 1.7 miles from this house, which is your main way to get to most places in the mountains and into the flatlands.
Other Things to Note:
» Check-in form & ID upload required prior to stay
» Self-check-in with digital keypad.
» Absolutely NO SMOKING is permitted under any circumstances inside or out.
» There will be a $500 fee for smoking in or on the premises, one spark can start a forest fire.
» 4-WHEEL/ALL-WHEEL DRIVE is a must OCTOBER-APRIL.
» Mountain terrain can be rocky, icy, and slippery.
» No parties permitted, per Airbnb regulations
» Starlink WIFI: This house is in the mountains. Although rare, Wi-Fi can be affected by the wind and snow. Intermittent service at times is beyond our control as these mountains have a mind of their own!
Interaction with Guests:
The entire mountain home sits on 1.5 acres, with the National Forest as your backyard. We live locally, and are available for anything that you would need us to be available for. Otherwise, the entire space is yours to enjoy.
