Description
The Royal Lodge is located at Symonds Yat East on the border of Herefordshire Gwent and Gloucestershire. It is easily accessed from the A40 midway between Ross and Monmouth.The property has a fully equipped conference room which can cater for groups of up to 70 delegates. It provides an ideal location for training or corporate team-building courses. The lodge provides packages which may include a combination of classroom learning along with a wide range of outdoor adventure activities. The hotel has indoor function rooms combined with a fantastic raised lawn which is perfect for marquees. The Royal Lodge has a restaurant which offers fine food which is locally sourced where possible. They offer a creative and well thought out menu offering local dishes and international cuisine. In addition to the restaurant menu the guests can enjoy bar snacks in the Cafe Bar and Garden Room. Most guests prefer to eat on the sunny terraces of the hotel gardens during the summer months. The guests are also offered Sunday lunches and a range of children's meals. High-chairs are available on request. The property has 20 en suite bedrooms which are arranged so that 19 take advantage of the unique position on the edge of the River Wye and make the most of the views so that every room faces the tranquil river. There are rooms with four poster beds single rooms and family rooms. There is a comfortable family lounge where you can enjoy our real fire in winter and where you can read or play board-games.
