Description
Ace Hotel & Swim Club Palm Springs in Palm Springs features a diner, bar, spa, two pools, a large event space and 180 rooms. Like its predecessors in the Pacific Northwest, Ace Hotel & Swim Club Palm Springs mixes the high and low to create an unconventional resort property that is intimate, fun, and consistent with the desert aesthetic. The large pool and spa are open to the public along with hotel guests. The Swim Club has a poolside bar and patio restaurant. Ace translates the vibrant social energy of their hotels in Portland and Seattle to the laid-back, folk-modern dynamic of the desert. It is sensuous, romantic, funky, and sustainable. The hotel is powered by solar arrays that cover the rooftops and innovative fuel cells that should offset the power usage by over 60 percent. As always at Ace, there are rooms available for the budget traveler as well as those looking for a more deluxe experience. The Spa at Ace Hotel & Swim Club is casual, simple, and unfussy. Cedar-lined indoor treatment rooms with sauna and steam flow out to the large Swim Club pool. Outside, nestled in sage and lavender, you can get a massage in a Mongolian yurt under colored skylights by artist Margo Victor. Treatments are inspired by the surroundings. They are fresh, straightforward, and effective. It's a holistic approach to health and well-being, not just a luxury. Enjoy the huge pool that is open to the public for a fee. Includes the Spa, the Gym, and the Short Bus (the hotel's poolside bar). The hotel will even bring a portable Weber grill to your private patio, terrace, or one of the public fireplaces. They bring the fixings, equipment, and a chef to show you how it's done. You do the grilling. Like at home. Only better.
