Description
Cheraw State Park is located in northeast South Carolina, on the banks of Lake Juniper. A boardwalk along the lake helps visitors enjoy the scenic setting, and watch kayakers scooting into the cypress wetlands at the lake's edge. Equestrian, biking, and hiking trails are also available, but the most impressive amenity is the 18-hole championship golf course designed by Tom Jackson. The campground is convenient to restrooms with hot showers, and a dump station is available for RVs. Each campsite is packed gravel and has individual water and electrical hookups. The pull-through sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet, others up to 34 feet. Six sites are located on the waterfront.
