Letchworth State Park Campground

You'll be amazed by the stunning beauty of Letchworth State Park Campground, the Grand Canyon of the East. When the Genesee River tumbles through a narrow gorge, cliffs of up to 600 feet are punctuated by sparkling waterfalls and nestled in lush, green forest. The park contains 66 miles of hiking trails as well as trails for horseback riding, biking, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. There's an abundance of activities at all seasons of the year, from guided tours, lectures, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and hot air ballooning in the summer to snow tubing and horse-drawn sleigh rides in the winter. The campsites are well-equipped with a playground, swimming pool, playing fields, picnic areas, gift shop and more.
