Point Beach State Forest Campground
Dogs are allowed at Point Beach State Forest Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle, and properly cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed at the tent sites and cabins, but should be attended to at all times. There are no pet fees or weight limitations. Description
This 127 site campground sits on the shores of Lake Michigan on a six-mile beach. It is adjacent to popular bicycle and hiking trails through areas of pine forest. Many of the sites have electric hookups, and all are within walking distance of the lake across a span of high sand dunes. The sites are all in a quiet, wooded setting, and flush toilets and showers are available.
