North-South Lake Campground

This lovely campground includes several lakes as well as access to hiking trails through the surrounding mountains leading to beautiful overlooks and waterfalls. It's the biggest campground in the Catskill Forest Preserve and one of the most popular. Located on the eastern edge of the Catskill Escarpment, the park includes a playground, boating access, fishing, swimming, and picnicking. There are also a host of events in-season, such as guest speakers and concerts. Campsites are nestled in the woods and include tables and fireplaces. There are also restrooms with showers, a boat launch, boat rentals and a dump station.
