Dogs are allowed at Otter River State Forest Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Description
The first campground in the Massachusetts State Park system, Otter River was opened in 1931 and includes lovely camping sites set under a pine canopy. Four yurt sites are available as well as 85 conventional sites, all surrounding the 2-acre Beaman Pond. The campground includes a swimming beach and access to the park's many hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as the 9,000 acre Birch Hill Wildlife Management area.
