Description
Stay in an authentic young growth log cabin in the Tongass National Forest. Middle Ridge Cabin is located on Wrangell Island, and unlike most remote cabins in the Tongass is accessible by road. You will need a snow mobile or ATV in the winter. The 16' by 20' cabin is newly constructed, yet still rustic, and overlooks a small lake. Enjoy berry picking, swimming, and small craft boating in summer, or cross country skiing and snow shoeing in winter. Up to eight person can be accomodated, and everything but the loft meets ADA standards. A woodstove is available for cool nights, though there is no electricity or indoor plumbing. Bring your own drinking water, sleeping gear, and cooking utensils.
