Description
Stay in a historic, rustic Forest Service guard station in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The two-room lodge, built in 1933, does not have a flush toilet, shower, or sink, but does include basic amenities such as a propane rangetop, table, and chairs. You'll want to bring your own cooking utensils as well as linens and bedding. The station can sleep up to eight people on four sets of bunks with mattresses, and there's also room for an RV to be parked on site. Be aware that access to the site may be difficult at certain times of year - snowmobiles are required in winter. It's a truly backcountry experience in a stunning location.
