Description
Camp out on the shores of the largest body of water in the Alpine District. Lake Luna is surrounded by Ponderosa Pines and is a habitat for nesting waterfowl, making it a great bird-watching spot. There are interpretive progams on offer in July and August. The campground consists of two areas, one for tents only, and the other for tents or RVs. Motors of 8 horsepower or less can be used on the lake, which offers great fishing particularly in the spring after the thaw.
