Description

This family house, 'Treetops' sits on a hill above the water. With a large wrap-around porch, it is the perfect place to enjoy cocktails on a Summer evening and watch the sun set over Mount Washington, NH and Harpswell Sound. House offers protected platform in Beal's Cove, part of Harpswell Sound, giving guests a perfect place to launch canoes, kayaks, or boats, to swim or to spend the afternoon skipping rocks. The house was built in the early 1900's, but newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms offer modern day comforts to complement the old Maine charm. Rooms include a den/study, living room, separate dining room, and the new spacious eat-in kitchen - all with great water views! Also, the house offers plenty of sleeping space (see above). Working fireplace in living room and gas fireplace in kitchen take the nip out of potentially chilly mornings or evenings. Family photos and details throughout. Also offers abundant land for outdoor games & shared tennis court. Sound good?
