Dogs are allowed at Woodlands Camping Resort, but they must be kept on a leash when outside your vehicle and be properly cleaned up after. Pets must not be tied up or left outside. Pets must be kept quiet. Pets are not permitted in the cabins. Rottweilers, Dobermans, German Sheperds, and Pit Bulls are not allowed. Description
Woodlands Camping Resort is a semi-private camping resort with many seasonal contract sites. In addition, they also have some transient sites, two cabins and a number of sites reserved for temporary workers. Woodlands is located about 3 miles outside of Elkton, MD on the Elk Neck Peninsula and is totally surrounded by Elk Neck State Forest. They are just a short drive from many Chesapeake Bay attractions. Some of the recreational activities available are: Saturday night bingo at the large pavilion, scheduled poker runs, several dances with DJ's each season, fishing in the catch and release pond, and numerous other special events on holidays and special weekends.
