Walker Island Camping
Dogs are allowed at Walker Island Camping, but they must be kept on a leash when outside your vehicle. Dogs may be walked throughout the park as long as they are cleaned up after. Bags are available for clean up. Dogs are not allowed in the building or pool area and must not be left unattended. Dogs must be kept quiet. Description
Founded in 1969 and encompassing 85 acres, Walker Island Camping is unique among campgrounds. With two islands formed by Walker Brook and an old granite railroad, all connected by two covered bridges in the foothills of the Berkshires, it creates a camping experience like no other. They have 90 sites to choose from and can accommodate tents, campers, and RV's. Amenities include 30 amp service, full hook-up sites, cable, free hot showers, WiFi, a camp store, hiking trails, laundromat, playground, horseshoes, basketball court, firewood, ice, and propane.
