Pioneer Park Campground

Pioneer Park Campground is a beautiful 185-acre recreational area nestled at the foot of the scenic Laurel Ridge Mountains. The large manicured grass-covered campsites are enhanced by fifty picturesque acres of spring-fed lakes. Three of the lakes are stocked twice a week in the spring with all species of trout and attract fishermen from all over southwestern Pennsylvania. No fishing license is required, although permits are necessary and can be purchased at the campground office. The fourth lake is used for paddle boating and children's fishing. Fishing is free for children in this lake. Other activities under the direction of a full-time activities director, range from swimming in an olympic size pool, basketball and tennis courts, shuffleboard, miniature golf, horseshoes, volleyball, treasure hunts to paddleboat races.
