Many of the bedrooms at the hotel have been refurbished to a very high standard and the sea-facing hotel bedrooms feature balconies. The hotel offers the highest standards of comfort and style. Fine cuisine at the hotel can be savored in the testaurant, which is renowned in the Portsmouth area for its superb breakfasts, table d'hote lunches, and a la carte dinners. The menu is complemented by a fine wine list with an outstanding selection of wines. The hotel is a grand period building, dating back to the Edwardian era. It features a southwest-facing terrace that leads down to an extensive garden. A host of local attractions are all within easy reach of the hotel including the World Famous Historic Dockyard with its Naval Heritage Ships and the Charles Dickens Museum.
