This upcountry retreat in the foothills of Mauna Kea offers spacious accommodations and scenic mountain views. Every morning, guests can enjoy complimentary pastries and coffee in the lobby. The hotel also offers daily housekeeping, wake-up service, vending machines, and complimentary parking. The Big Island offers great sightseeing, golfing, tennis, sports fishing, and water activities. Each region on the island has a unique geography, microclimate, and character ranging from lush and green to hot and arid. For local dining, Castle Waimea Country Lodge is next door to the Paniolo Country Inn restaurant and lounge. Guests receive signing privileges here and at the world famous Merriman's restaurant in town. Each of the 21 rooms has cable television, radio alarm clock, dataport telephone, and kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, two-burner stove, sink, toaster, utensils, and service for four.
