Description
Baxter Park Inn connects directly to cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails going into northern Maine and Baxter State Park (15 miles away) and is located approximately 71 miles north of Bangor International Airport. There is a pond with a sand beach for swimming about 200 yards from the inn. During the summer months the staff can make arrangements for daily white-water rafting expeditions on the west branch of the Penobscot River. The property's amenities include the restaurant and lounge complimentary continental breakfast indoor swimming pool and exercise room with two spa tubs. A message therapist is available by appointment. The inn also offers conference rooms free weekday newspapers parking and 24-hour front desk service.
