This modern holiday park at the foot of the Brocken is an ideal vacation destination for families with children. A wide range of leisure activities await you here in every season – and the beautiful Harz Mountains, with their deep green forests and mountains, are right on your doorstep. Nestled in a lush park, the holiday homes, built in a typical style, offer a wonderful retreat with a private terrace. If you're looking for some peace and quiet after all the activities, simply snuggle up in front of the TV after sunset or start a game night. In the kitchen, you'll find all the utensils you need to prepare something delicious. In almost all bedrooms, you can configure the beds to create a double bed for snuggling or separate beds for a pillow fight. This makes it ideal for families with children, as well as couples and friends traveling together. If you'd like to visit Wernigerode's medieval town center, leave the car at home and take the castle train, for example, which departs from the holiday park every morning. The colorful, up to 600-year-old half-timbered houses, the 500-year-old town hall, the castle, the smallest half-timbered house now a museum, and the "Krummelsches Haus" (Krummel House) are world-famous and will delight you too. Activities nearby: In addition to the holiday park's diverse leisure activities, the Harz Mountains, with their incomparable mountain landscape, await you for exciting excursions. For example, the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway station is just a few minutes' walk away. Historic steam trains will take you to the summit of the Brocken, Northern Germany's highest mountain. Whether short strolls or extended hikes, the Harz hiking area with its forests, lakes, and streams is right on your doorstep. Discover interesting day trips, for example, to the show mines, the Hexentanzplatz (Witches' Dance Floor) near Thale, or the cathedral in Halberstadt. Our tip for families: The "Little Harz" Miniature Park features more than 50 miniature models of the Harz Mountains' most famous buildings. Important note: Maximum capacity is 6 adults and 2 children up to 14 years of age.
