Built in 1854 on the city's ancient fortifications Hotel Metropole Geneve is less than a mile from various monuments and museums, as well as Victoria Hall, and enjoys a splendid view of Lake Geneva. Geneva's airport is approximately six miles away. Amrita Fitness Center is the newest addition to the hotel and features a wide range of workout equipment. Guests are invited to experience the creative international cuisine of Le Grand Quai and the typical Geneva atmosphere of the piano bar. Room service is available. Other services include valet laundry, valet parking, babysitting, and 24-hour front desk. The hotel also has a business center, beauty salon, concierge, and meeting facilities. The hotel includes 111 rooms. All rooms have multi-line phones with modem connection, in-room fax machine, CD/DVD player, Lavazza espresso machine, and more. Please note that the only room allowing an extra person is the Executive Lake Side. The extra bed is charged 90 CHF directly to the hotel and is free for a kid under 3 years old.
