Treelined roads that are perfect for walking and biking lead you into Thousand Acres. As you approach your destination, be sure to take notice of the 18-hole golf course located in the community that offers scenic mountain views.
Upon entering the home, your attention will be immediately captured by vaulted ceilings, a wall of windows with woodland views, and a majestic stone fireplace that is the focal point of the great room. Natural light adds a bright and airy feel to the open concept layout that easily lends itself to entertaining. Imagine cozy nights by a crackling fire, playing pool, and sharing stories with your favorite people about the Deep Creek adventures that filled your day. A window-seat that looks out onto the deck and sparking lake is the perfect spot to curl up with a coffee and read a good book on a lazy afternoon. The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing home-cooked meals and there is ample seating for everyone in the dining area with an oversized table inviting everyone to slow down and catch up. Just off the great room is a sunroom nook with French doors perfect for a coffee or a glass of wine as you gaze out at the water, work quietly on your laptop, or play board games with your crew.
Also on the main level, you will find a fully renovated primary suite complete with a queen bed, TV, and private bath. An oversized jetted tub is a bonus! An additional renovated comfortable bedroom with a queen bed and renovated bath rounds out the sleeping quarters on this level.
Upstairs you will find a loft that offers a queen sleeping sofa. This is another great space where you can spread out and unwind. When you need to catch up on your sleep, a bedroom with a queen, a TV and warm wood walls is waiting to offer you a quiet haven. Another bedroom with a duobunk is equally as inviting when it is time to rest your head as well as another renovated bathroom.
A spiral staircase leads you up to a loft that the kids will love! Furnished with a queen bed and double futon, a TV/DVD for movies and an air hockey table, it is a space they can call their own and is perfect for bedtime stories and late-night chats.
An amazing outdoor space makes this home truly special. The expansive deck, complete with a pergola and new hot tub, is where you will lounge in the shade, host afternoon barbecues and gaze at the stars on clear mountain nights. The property includes a pickleball court and basketball hoop as well. A path leads you through the wooded yard to your private dock. Bring your boat or rent one at a local marina and explore the lake's quiet coves. Swimming and fishing will fill your days. Watch the sunset from the shore before breaking out the marshmallows for an evening around the fire pit.
The property includes access to expansive shaded tree-lined paths just out the front door in the Thousand Acres network of marked trails for your running/walking/xc-skiing/ and snowshoeing exploration and enjoyment. House-trained pets are welcome.
