Stamp Howe, situated in the picturesque village of Troutbeck with sensational views across the valley towards Garburn Pass, is a detached four-bedroom property set within its own private grounds.
Formally a banked barn dating back to the early 17th century, this spacious Troutbeck self-catering cottage can accommodate up to 8 guests, which makes it perfect for families or groups of friends to get together plus the location makes it ideal for exploring the Lake District National Park.
There are plenty of fantastic walks right from the doorstep including Wansfell Pike with fabulous views over Windermere towards Coniston and the Langdales, some of which are bridleways, so bring the mountain bikes!
For lovers of real ales and good food, The Mortal Man Inn is located across the road and a mere five-minute walk away is The Queens Head gastro-pub - both are family-friendly and both allow dogs!

First Floor

The driveway offers parking for up to three cars.
The established gardens are laid to different levels with various lawns, shrubs and bushes with patio areas.

1-Well-behaved dog is welcome to stay - A charge of GBP15.00 per dog per stay applies. Dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms or on the furniture. To avoid additional cleaning charges, guests must remove all dog waste from the garden and grounds and dispose properly in the bin.
A travel cot and high chair are available on request.
