In the middle of everything on the Spokane River (adjacent to a great river walk) next door to Gonzaga. They even have a small fenced area where my Harley took care of her zoomies! If you are coming to Spokane with your furry friend, you should stay here.
It seemed clean and recently touched-up. There's a walking path on the river immediately outside. They were accommodating about dogs. Everyone was nice. It was pretty cheap. All good!
This is a very large hotel right next to Gonzaga University. A river walk goes the length of the hotel and beyond. They have the best enclosed dog park. The connected restaurant, the Osprey, had great food and service, and plenty of outdoor seating where dogs are allowed. We were seated away from other diners with pets. The room was excellent, and all staff were friendly to us and our dog. Highly recommend!
Every time I stay in Spokane with our dog we stay here. Rooms are comfortable, front desk very accommodating, and lots of good amenities. The plus for me is the distance to the walking trail for walking my dog. They even have a little dog park, plenty of dog waste stations, and the attached restaurant has a dog-friendly patio.
Great hotel on the river with beautiful landscaping. Patio dining with dogs allowed. Clean modern room. Located next to a path that runs along the river. Gonzaga U is minutes away.
This is the second time we have stayed here but first time with our pup. Discovered they have a fenced off leash area right outside one of the back doors by the river walk! Poop bag stations all over so you don’t have to go looking for them either!
Ruby River Hotel had the best fenced off leash relief area of any hotel we have stayed at. Also, it is right on the paved trail to the River Front Park. Best human bathroom too! Nice hotel. The negatives were breakfast was minimal, and I could not find a menu online for their restaurant, so we never went. Will be staying again if ever back in Spokane.
We had a comfortable 1st floor room with a slider out to the places to walk a dog and take to the dog run. Also, we could walk with Roxy on the river walk that was along the back of the hotel.
This was a great place to stay with our dog. It looks out over the river and we enjoyed walking on the river path. The restaurant with the hotel was also great and they let us sit with our dog outside and even brought her a bowl of water. Would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is well suited for dogs only. The pool patio area has a door to the river walking path for plenty of exercise and adventure. The restaurant has ample outdoor space as well. We’ll stay again for certain! I loved it.
The majority of our stay was rather uneventful. However, upon checking in the front desk attendant told us that our rooms weren’t ready. Mind you this is 5:15p (not like an early check in). Also, there was a whole lot of other people checking in that had rooms. And ours were pre-paid. She then offered to keep our bags behind the desk and wait the $10 amenities fee. She said two of the three rooms were ready. She then printed out our forms to sign with the $10 fee applied. The then proceeded to state that our rooms were now ready. So confusing and unhelpful. They need to make sure their rooms are ready at check in time and if they’re going to waive the fees...waive the fees.
This place has a great location. The attached restaurant has a great view of the river. The hotel itself is convenient to the downtown area. The building feels a little dated and could use some updating though. Our room had a nice patch of grass out back for doggie, which was a plus. The restaurant did allow us to bring our dog to breakfast, but he had to be on the opposite side of the fence and not on the outdoor patio itself. It worked OK, but it would have been much nicer if we could have had our dog by our side for meals on the patio.
