Pet Friendly Campgrounds in Glen Alpine, NC

Green Mountain Park is pet friendly! Two pets of any size are welcome for no additional fee. Pets are accepted in the campsite only. Rental units and cabins are not pet friendly. Both dogs and cats are allowed. Pets must be leashed at all times on the campground. There is a grassy area for pet relief on the property.

Dogs are allowed at Linville Falls Blue Ridge Pkwy Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Dogs are also allowed at the tent sites and inside the cabins ($10 fee), but should not be left unattended at the campsites. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (828) 765-7818.

Linville Falls Campground, RV Park & Cabins welcomes one pet of any size for an additional fee of $25 per stay in cabins. All cabins except Mountain Retreat and Rhododendron are pet friendly. There is a dog park on the property. Pets must be leashed at all times when outside of vehicles.

Starlight Hills Campground welcomes dogs of any size for no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended and must be leashed on property grounds.

Buck Hill Campground welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per stay in Cabins. There is no fee for RV or tent stays. Dogs must be leashed when they are around the main campsites. In addition, we have a large open field in the back where dogs can run and play off leash if they wish.

Spacious Skies Bear Den welcomes a maximum of two pets of any size for no additional fee in Camping and RV sites, and $25 per pet, per stay in Cabins and Cottages. Both dogs and cats are allowed.

Spacious Skies Hidden Creek welcomes a maximum of two pets of any size for no additional fee in Camping and RV sites, and $25 per pet, per stay in select Cabins. Both dogs and cats are allowed.

Dogs are allowed at Down By the River Campground, but aggressive pets are not allowed. Pets must have required vaccinations. There is a pet park on the campgrounds. Pets must be on a leash when outside your camper/tent. When walking your pet within the campground, use a short 6' or less leash. Please do not walk your pet along the river. When pets need to go to the bathroom, please use the field East of the recreation center. Clean up after your pet and place waste in a garbage bag. Take necessary measures when leaving your pets in the camper to prevent them from disturbing others. Other restrictions may apply. Please see website for more details.
