Pet Friendly Campgrounds in Kinderhook, NY

Spacious Skies Woodland Hills welcomes a maximum of two pets of any size for no additional fee in Camping and RV sites, and $25 per pet, per stay in the Willow Pond Cottage. Both dogs and cats are allowed. There is a dog park on the property, plus Cosmic Canine sites (personal fenced-in areas next to campsites).

Dogs are allowed at Prospect Lake Park, but they must be kept on a leash when outside your vehicle. Visitors to the park, whether in for the day or staying overnight with registered campers, are not allowed bring pets. No pets are allowed with cabin rentals. Dogs are allowed at Alps Family Campground, but they must be kept on a leash (6' max length) when outside your vehicle. Upon registration a copy of a current rabies vaccination must be presented. Pets are not permitted in the cabin. Pets may not be left tied at a campsite while the owners are away from the site. You must clean up all waste and properly dispose of it immediately. Excessive barking is not permitted and may result in eviction. Due to insurance regulations the campground may have to restrict certain breeds in the future. Dogs are allowed at Copake KOA, but they must be kept on a leash when outside your vehicle. You are responsible for the cleanup of your pet's waste. No more than two pets per site. Pets must sleep in your camping unit at night. Do not leave your pet unattended at anytime. No pets in buildings, pool area, or playground. Pets are not permitted in rental units. Owners must bring proof of rabies shots for dogs. Barking dogs are not welcome. Aggressive breeds are not permitted. Please ask if unsure. Visitors are not permitted to bring pets into the park.
