James Was Loved By So Many❤️

This photo was taken at Muskrat Park in St. Michaels, MD. James L. Stewart was a constant fixture in St. Michaels life. I saw him everyday, whether he was on his way to work or just running to the store. I can still picture his smile and I can still hear his laugh. He made beautiful St. Michaels, MD his home for 17 years. He was involved in local theater, Fall into St. Michaels & Christmas in St. Michaels. He had incredible style and his distinct taste won over the hearts of many. He helped decorate historic properties for home tours during the holidays. I remember him managing at, Chesapeake Trading Company where he worked for many years. Sometimes he would fill-in and tend bar for local saloons, he liked the nightlife. He is remembered the most for his bartending skills at Ava‘s Pizzeria & Wine Bar. This is where he worked until his passing. James passed away in August of 2010, at his home from diabetes complications. When you’re planning your visit to St. Michaels bring your zest for life, shop until you drop, plan to have a meal at Ava’s🍝 (*try the James Chicken Cutlet BLT) and schedule a sailing tour. ⛵️Visit Muskrat Park to see his bench and just come to have fun! James would want you to.❤️
