If you go AFTER all the rental kayaks and paddleboard are turned in ( 5:30 or after) and take your own paddleboard, no one will even ask about your dog swimming with you. Park rangers work 9-5. It's usually just locals after that. I had Millie's leash attached and could grab it when we went on shore.

Louie loved visiting The Blowing Rock! A simple place to visit that doesn't require a steep drive or difficult hike. Views were great and the property is well-maintained.

Josie loves climbing (her siblings are cats). She would’ve climbed all the way up if I let her! She’s only 4 feet off the ground here with me between her and the ledge.
