Entry Requirements
Complete the following entry requirements to travel to Luxembourg with your pet:
- Pets must be identifiable via a microchip implanted before the pet receives their rabies vaccination. If your pet already has been vaccinated before implantation, the vaccination becomes invalid and will need to be administered again.
- Pets must be vaccinated against rabies at least 21 days before travel.
- If you're traveling from a rabies-free or rabies-controlled country like the U.S. or around the EU, obtain a health certificate that shows proof of rabies vaccination.
- Pets from EU countries require an EU Pet Passport. Travelers from elsewhere will need a health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian.
Quarantine Information
Pets traveling to Luxembourg do not need to be quarantined if they meet all the necessary requirements listed above.
