Local here: Dirty and unsupervised dogs
Dog Park at Kenwood ParkMy dog was attacked with $750 in vet bills as soon as we entered. The park is 3 football fields long and people sit at tables not within voice distance. Pinellas County considers attacks to be owners at risk. I went here a few times because of living in the neighborhood. Neighbors were right to warn me to stay away. I thought they meant poop that’s everywhere.
The best place for dogs ever!
The Pines CottagesTruly dog friendly! The cottages are all far apart with no worry of dog noise from mine. We were allowed to leave big dog alone and bring a crate if needed. There are dog stations all over. Two bowls, treats, and blankets were there. Very clean kitchen and bath with no dog urine smells. A minute away is a large grocery. This place was a huge relief for me with a separation anxiety dog because he was comfortable here like home and owners of property like dogs. Very romantic for people too.
Loud
Riverside Arts MarketGreat for humans. It is too loud under the freeway bridges and with thousands of people. My dog cooperated but definitely hated being there. Food takes 15-20 minutes to get always. There are some vendors with meat for dogs.
