It had clean sheets and the air conditioning worked. The price was right. The location is not great but there was green space out back.

It's clean. It has a huge green space to walk and play with a dog. It's very affordable. There are no amenities, but for the price you can buy your own coffee. What more can you ask for?

Our second floor south facing room had a million dollar view. The long-term winter Texans have formed a lovely community and they sit in lawn chairs on the breezeway and visit throughout the day. They have a small green space out front with palm trees and you can walk up and down Gulf Boulevard with your dog.

It's an older property but it was clean enough for us and the price was right. The staff was very friendly. There's a grassy area but not much grass and if it has rained recently there'd be mud.

We stayed here for a family reunion and the hotel was very nice. The pet fee kept us from giving it five bones, $50 a night is a lot.

The room was clean, with a strong smell of cleaning solvents that faded in 2 days and my wife could smell mold. We were there on Saturday night and it was quite noisy outside. The pool area was cute. The hot tub was more of a warm tub. They don't supply washcloths but you can trade in used towels for clean ones. All that said, this is one of the least inexpensive dog friendly places on South Padre Island.

The room was clean. We were on the west side of the hotel away from the highway and it was quiet. There was a nice big grassy area behind the hotel. There was an outdoor pool but it had not been cleaned in a while (many bugs on the bottom).

Fun themed menu item names. I had the Surfin' USA burger with a side of "lug nuts", fried okra. Yum!
Lovely covered patio and our sweet server brought our pup a bowl if water.

We stopped for lunch while passing through town and took a chance during lunch rush. The patio was closed due to staffing, but they made an exception for us and our pup! The patio sits on a small river and has plenty of shade. The food was great too!

I liked that the green area out back was not muddy but had decent grass (it had just rained). It was quite large and we played fetch a bit.

Blind box is our favorite local outing with our dog. We get great service with a smile. Their patio has shade and has shelter in case of sprinkles. The food is awesome, their Sunday brunch is fantastic, and they always have a water bowl for our dog.

Clean, quiet, not heavily scented. Wood floors, no carpet. All I could ask for as a pet owner. Not a lot of green space but enough we played fetch in for a bit.
