They have different rules of when the dogs can be at the beach depending on the time of the year. Only allowed before 10AM or after 5 pm From May 1st until Labor Day. It would be helpful if the city designated an area as a “dog beach”

Nestled between a cemetery and Withers Wash Park lies this pearl of a dog park. There is always parking, there is shade, sun, stocked poop stations, water fountain and is never crowded

This park is big, ample parking in front it has a LG dog side, SM dog side and a LAKE area in the back you can also walk leash less with your pup. (swimming in the lake is for dogs only)It has filled Poop bags stations, water and shovel & rake stations (in case your pup digs a hole, they ask fur parents to fill it back in) and lots of seating benches. Can you tell we love this park? 😉

It also had soooo many contradicting rules. Is it a dog park if the dog has to be on a leash at all times???is it a dog beach if the rule is to keep your dog on a leash even in the water! w/ waves and [removed] fog? Seriously disappointed w/ Pensacola NOT a dog park not a BEACH. In Hollywood Beach there is a patch of sand all year round where dogs can roam free and swim with their owners and yes same basic rules-clean it after and look after your dog but come on #pensacolanotdogparkorbeach
