We needed to stretch our legs and the garden was a nice option. It’s not a formal flower garden but had nice paths, lawn, flowers, stream, playground, benches, and picnic tables. Drive in from the street past the ballpark to reach the garden and parking, or park on the street and walk in.

This would be a 5 bones review if I knew my way around the park. It seems like a local treasure. Since we were just dropping in for a stop along the highway, the lack of trail markings and heat were challenging for us and our dog, but friendly people were a plus.

Two camping areas and some picnic spots. We suv camped near the river on left side of dam. Hiked along reservoir and hillside. Water low but saw boater and fishing along shore. Basic but nice, only $20, and good shower.
