What a let down
Brues Alehouse Brewing CompanyI had high hopes for this place after all the glowing reviews. I showed up with my 2 dogs on a cool, sunny day and sat at a table on the downstairs patio. No one came out. I tried to scan the QR on the table to see if I could order to the table without luck. After a good 20 minutes (I'm patient), I decided to go up to the second floor beer garden where I'd seen signs saying to order from the table. I sat at a table, scanned the QR code and was given the option of 4 appetizers. That's it. No meals. No beer. Finally, I called the restaurant. I asked if there was a way to order beer to the beer garden. The man told me no, but he would have servers up there next month hopefully. He invited me to come order at the bar downstairs and take it out to the patio. I asked if there was a way to order from outside downstairs because I was alone with my two dogs. He replied "No." That's it. I waited. He had nothing else to say. No suggestions, no offers of assistance, no apologies. I thanked him for his time and hung up.
Not what I'd call good customer service.
Comfy stop
Shamrock Brewing CompanyStaff was pleasant and accommodating, the beer was very good and while they didn't have much on the menu that a vegan could eat, they offered to make me a side of veggies to go with my pub fries, which was very nice of them. I enjoyed sitting on the patio with my two dogs and trying a flight of beer and chatting with a few of the regulars. Oh, and they brought some treats for the dogs as well!
